Homeowner Reminders & Updates

Ways to Keep Marvella Marvelous

Thank you for helping make Marvella a great place to live. Small efforts throughout the year help keep the neighborhood clean, safe, and welcoming.

  • Pet waste stations are available near the pool on South Olive Court and near the mailboxes on East Lake Drive.
  • Continue clearing leaves, snow, and debris from sidewalks and gutters as needed.
  • Architectural Review approval is required prior to beginning exterior improvements. Please submit requests to District Management before starting work.
  • Maintain lawn and landscape areas, including pruning, weed control, and debris removal.
  • Trash and recycling carts should be stored out of view and placed at the curb no earlier than the night before pickup.
  • Please remind children to respect neighbors’ property and pick up toys and equipment when finished playing.

Trash & Recycling Reminder

Waste Management provides Friday trash and recycling service in Marvella. When a WM-observed holiday falls on a weekday, service is delayed by one day.

Upcoming holidays:

  • Good Friday – April 3, 2026
  • Memorial Day – May 25, 2026

Helpful reminders:

  • Place carts out the night before pickup.
  • Remove carts by the end of service day.
  • Break down cardboard boxes.
  • Keep recycling clean and dry.

Covenant Compliance Reminder

Many of the items noted above—including trash storage, snow removal, and property maintenance—are addressed in the community covenants.

The District follows a progressive enforcement process focused on communication and providing homeowners an opportunity to resolve issues. Residents are encouraged to review the Covenant Enforcement Policy on the District website.

Board Meeting Update – February 13, 2026

The Board of Directors met on February 13 to review District finances and discuss preparations for the pool and upcoming landscaping season.

Pool Repairs and Preparation
Leak detection identified plumbing issues that will need to be repaired before the pool opens. The Board directed District Management to coordinate repairs and provide a timeline so the pool is ready for the upcoming season.

Landscaping and Community Maintenance
Spring landscaping services will begin as weather allows, including mowing, irrigation startup, and open space maintenance. The Board also discussed adding perennial plantings in select areas to enhance landscaped beds and provide additional seasonal color.

District Management was asked to ensure landscaping and maintenance work stays on schedule heading into the spring season.

What this means for residents: Work is underway to prepare the pool and refresh landscaping so community amenities are ready for residents to enjoy this spring and summer.
