Homeowner Reminders & Updates

Utility Easement & Contractor Access Reminder

Residents are reminded that utility easements and utility access areas must remain available when access is needed for maintenance, repairs, service restoration, or other authorized work.

This is especially important when a utility provider or contractor needs access to restore service to a neighboring property. Recently, a resident experienced an interruption of cable and internet service because the utility provider was unable to access the necessary utility area through an adjacent property.

The District asks all residents to cooperate with authorized utility providers, District representatives, and contractors when reasonable access is needed. Delaying or refusing access may prevent timely repairs and may impact neighboring homeowners.

Please note that access should be coordinated appropriately and does not include the interior of any residence unless separately authorized. Residents with questions or concerns may contact District management.

Ways to Keep Marvella Marvelous

As we head into the spring and summer months, small actions can make a big impact across the community:

  • Be mindful of irrigation runoff and avoid watering streets and sidewalks.
  • Store outdoor items neatly when not in use.
  • Keep utility access areas clear when service or maintenance is needed.
  • Pick up after pets and use the pet waste stations located throughout the community.
  • Securely bag trash and break down cardboard boxes to help reduce overflow.
  • Report maintenance concerns through the District’s website.
  • Help keep sidewalks, streets, and common areas clean and safe.

Trash, Recycling & Service Reminders

Regular trash and recycling service continues on Fridays. Holidays observed by Waste Management may result in service delays, typically resulting in a one-day delay.

As always, please securely bag trash and break down cardboard boxes to help keep the community clean and reduce overflow.

Architectural Review Reminder

Planning an exterior project this spring? Please remember that all exterior improvements require prior approval from the District’s Architectural Review Committee.

Please submit your request to Carlos Arreola-Karr before starting any work. Planning ahead can help avoid delays as the season picks up.

District News

Watering Season Update & Restrictions

As we move into irrigation season, residents should be aware that Stage 1 drought restrictions are currently in place across the Denver metro area due to below-average snowpack and ongoing dry conditions.

Under the current restrictions, single-family residential watering is limited to two assigned days per week. Watering is only allowed before 10:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m.

Residents are reminded to follow their assigned watering days:

  • Even-numbered single-family residential addresses: Sunday and Thursday.
  • Odd-numbered single-family residential addresses: Wednesday and Saturday.

Residents are also reminded to:

  • Keep water off pavement, sidewalks, and streets.
  • Avoid watering during rain or high winds.
  • Repair leaking or broken sprinkler systems in a timely manner.
  • Use a hose nozzle with a shut-off valve when hand-watering or washing a vehicle.

Residents are encouraged to use water efficiently, avoid irrigation runoff, and delay unnecessary watering where possible. These measures are intended to reduce demand and help preserve water supplies heading into the peak summer season.

Pool Now Open for the Season

The Marvella Metropolitan District pool is now open for the season.

Residents are reminded that there is no lifeguard on duty at any time. Pool users are responsible for following all posted pool rules and helping keep the facility clean, safe, and enjoyable for the community.

Summer pool hours are posted onsite. Residents are encouraged to review the posted hours and rules before using the facility.

If your household needs a pool key, please contact Community Resource Services of Colorado at (303) 381-4960 to schedule pickup from the CRS office.
